Showing Children That It’s All About Jesus!
Samaritan’s Purse sends Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts to boys and girls around the world to introduce them to the Good News.
People of all ages prayerfully fill shoeboxes with toys and other fun items so Samaritan’s Purse can deliver them to children in need along with the message of Jesus Christ: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Through the power of the Gospel, each box can transform the life of a child as well as his or her family and community! Since 1993, more than 244 million boys and girls in over 175 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift in Jesus’ Name.
Many shoebox recipients also participate in our 12-lesson discipleship program, The Greatest Journey. The course includes Bible stories and Scripture memorization, so they learn how to follow Christ and share Him with friends and family. We praise God that over 62 million children have been discipled!
