This includes shelter material (tarp), water filters, solar lights, and blankets.<\/li>\r\n\r\n                                <li>With these items and additional supplies from our Christian partners on the ground, we have helped thousands of families.<\/li>\r\n\r\n                                <li>Deadly flash flooding struck in Nepal and along the Nepal-Tibet border in late August. More than 1,400 people are confirmed dead. Our Disaster Assistance Response Team on the ground in the flooded region work with our partners to supply families with shelter materials, blankets, solar lights, and hygiene kits as they continue to recover from the widespread destruction. <\/p> \r\n\r\n<p>\u201cThe devastation in Nepal is unimaginable,\u201d said Franklin Graham. \u201cWe\u2019re all heartbroken to see the death toll continue to climb, and many families are still waiting for news of their missing loved ones even as they have been left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. It\u2019s important that we work quickly to help ease as much suffering as possible. We want the people of Nepal to know that God loves them, and I ask everyone to join us in continuing to pray for them.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The affected communities are situated in river valleys where water levels rose as much as 30 feet in half an hour. A terrifying and deadly wall of water surged through the narrows. For many miles, the force of water and debris destroyed buildings, homes, bridges, and roads.
